We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our retail jewelry store team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a wide range of financial tasks as well as general office management duties such as inventory control and customer service. Familiarity with accounting software and proficiency in Quickbooks are essential. The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Prior experience in retail or a related field is preferred but not required. - Managing Cash Receipts
- Managing Accounts Receivable
- Processing Accounts Payable
- Process payroll
- Process Benefits enrollments for employees
- Maintain/Replenish Petty Cash Fund
- Maintain organized office and filing systems, clean office area as needed
- Answer phone and interact with customers and staff as necessary
- Manage and order office/store supplies
- Receive & process inventory, maintain accurate accounting of inventory status
- Maintain inventory details/images for integration with website
- Help put jewelry into display cases each morning
- Minimum of 2 years experience in bookkeeping or financial management.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and willingness to take initiative.
